Walt Disney World Trip Report 2012 Day 1

Hi, Alice here, just wanted to share our first Walt Disney World trip together with you. As you know I went to Disney as a kid and Chris never was able to. 2012 was a big year, it was our first Disney trip together, our belated honeymoon, and Chris' first Disney trip.

Day 1 Monday January. 9, 2012

We flew to Orlando International Airport, from cold snowy Canada to warm tropical Florida. We landed at 8:30 pm and hopped the Magical Express to our resort. We chose to stay at the Pop Century as we planned to spend most of our time in the parks.

Feeling a little overwhelmed, we decided to have a relaxing night at the hotel. We stopped in at the food court and grabbed a large cheese pizza. We also stopped at the gift shop and picked up a couple of pins and a Minnie Mouse bake shop cookie.








Chris surprised me with a bouquet of roses. He had asked for 5, one for each year of our marriage.













We stayed up late, watching TV, while waiting for our luggage to show up from the Magical Express, it was a great way to end a whirlwind of a first day at Disney World.
